"Nou Langaz – Siman Nou Linite" Festival Celebrates Mauritian Culture at Mahébourg Waterfront

This annual event, held from December 2 to 10, 2023, celebrated Mauritian culture and the Creole language through a variety of engaging activities.

Highlights included a traditional regatta featuring over 15 colorful boats, a Mauritian Creole culinary festival offering local delicacies, a crafts exhibition showcasing local artisans, and a closing concert with performances by renowned artists such as Eric Triton, Koko Faya, and Alain Ramanisum.

The festival attracted over 34,000 visitors, reinforcing the unity and cultural richness of the Mauritian community.
